Refrigeration systems in the food industry
Dvořák, Josef ; Katolický, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is aimed at refrigeration systems in the industry which are used mainly in the food industry. Here are described individual parts that are refrigeration systems assembled. The work also contains summary of the ways you can make use of waste heat and also factors that have impact on economy of operation. The aim of work is to describe the basic analysis of thermodynamic cycles in the refrigeration systems which are displayed on the illustrative diagrams.
Design and optimization of the control valve for EHRS exchanger
Rada, Jakub ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and optimization of the control valve for EHRS exchanger. The first part of the thesis contains a research describing the historical development of internal combustion engines, their impact on the environment and especially the possible ways of waste heat recovery. The second part focuses on the design of the control valve and experimental measurement to verify its functionality. The final part contains an analysis of pressure losses of the designed valve to improve its construction disadvantages.
Creation and Validation of Pressure Loss Model for Steam Turbine Control Valves
Sláma, V. ; Mrozek, L. ; Tajč, L. ; Šimurda, David ; Hála, Jindřich
In this paper, a creation and a validation of the pressure loss model for the specific and widely used design of the steam turbine inlet control valve assembly called an L-valve is described. This model is based on a wide range of experimental measurements on the valve model installed in an air tunnel and it is validated by numerical simulations using the commercial code. The results of experimental measurements as well as numerical simulations are shown. Furthermore, differences between experimental and numerical results are discussed. According to the results, the pressure loss model in the form of a smart and effective procedure for calculating the valve assembly pressure losses and choosing an optimal valve sizes has been created.\n
Unsteady Measurement on Valve I
Šimurda, David ; Hála, Jindřich ; Luxa, Martin
Report contains results and evaluation of unsteady pneumatic measurements contucted on the valve system.

Heat recuperative station
Tydlačka, Tomáš ; Baxa, Miroslav (referee) ; Baxa, Miroslav (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is reconstruction of an existing heat recuperative station. The reason is morally and physically survive to the device. Introduction to focus on the heat exchangers. The next section is devoted to the actual design of technological devices exchange stations, which represents the heat exchangers, pumps, control valves, safety devices, etc. The final phase is an economic analysis aimed at determining return on investment.
Optimization of test programs diesel injection pumps
Jirka, Lukáš ; Šťastný, Daniel (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor thesis "Optimization of test programs injection pumps of diesel engines" is focused on the process of testing of proper function the high-pressure injection pumps CP3. This pump is an integral part of the system Common Rail and is one of the main products of the Bosch Diesel Jihlava company. The thesis in the first part deals with the presentation of the pump itself, and presents detailed description of the functional testing on the test station of assembly line. The second part is closely connected with the analysis of data which were collected during functional testing of each type of CP3 pumps. Following options are designed to reduce the length of test programs, making it possible to reduce the workload of test stations of assembly line.

Interferometric flow fields measurement in the model of the regulating valve with the vibrating plug
Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin ; Bula, Vítězslav
The schlieren and interferometric methods were used for visualization of the flow field in the 2D model of the regulating valve. Plug had two degrees of freedom and measurement was realized when the system lost the stability by flutter. Miniature pressure transducer probes were used to obtain information corresponding to the losses and pressure fluctuations in the near field of the vibrating plug.
Pneumatic and optical measurements on the model of control valve
Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin
The research report deals with methodology and results of pneumatic and optical nonstationary flow fields measurements by vibrating model of plug of valve in aerodynamic wind tunnel.
